I recently used a very cool application called PowToon which I highly recommend. To introduce what a Genius Hour is, I created a short PowToon! I learned a lot through using this application including formatting, and recording a voice clip! This was something very new to me, and a bit outside my comfort zone but in the end I feel I have grown a lot through using this and I will definitely be using it in the future! I liked how simple it was to use, and how quickly you could make a project that was really presentable with different varieties including audio, and visual instruction.
I would use this in a variety of classes and grade levels. I would also encourage students to try it out when creating their own presentations because I think it is an applications many students would enjoy! Through it's simplicity and fun effects, I'm positive my students will be using this in the future!
